VISIONARY CREATION WIKI

Universally, the introductions or overviews for the first type mentioned should be short, focus on a broad overview of information only and stay fully self contained in their own paragraph with the appropriate tag so they can be easily distinguished. It should also be noted that in the majority of such entries, the overview itself will represent only a small portion of the full entry, with the rest of the entry properly focusing on the counterparts’ unique and specific role within the Visionary Universe.

Notations on the second type should either be very brief when noted by creators introducing the counterpart, or only by way of connection when listing contributor additions. This is simply to help ensure the wiki does not become overwhelmed with information not directly relevant to its purposes.

On the legal concerns in using a personal connection, by way of example… Let’s say a contributor names the best friend of a character after their own best friend and fails to make a note of it on the Discussion page. Later, a writer plans a story that reveals the character’s best friend is a psychotic mass-murderer and, seeing a best friend listed, uses that name. In this instance, Visionary would bear no legal liability for slander or defamation or any other perceived criminal or civil action, however, the posting contributor may be so liable under certain jurisdictions or court decisions especially if it could be shown that there may have been some intent for such to take place.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON THIS
